ST HILARY PARISH Council Meeting Friday 3rd February 2023

MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING

It was proposed by Cllr Howells and seconded by Cllr Reed that the Council accept the minutes circulated prior to this meeting as being a correct record of that meeting,   All Councillors Agreed.

CHAIRMANS REPORT

The Chairman stated that the appeal by Mr Martin (Avalon) was successful with a few restrictions imposed, The Clerk was asked to send a copy of the decision to all Councillors,

It was decided to invite the Chairman of Germoe Parish Council to our next meeting to discuss the proposed cycle way from Helston to Penzance,

The state of New road is giving cause for  concern the Clerk to contact County again and also report to County about the lane from Colenso to Halamanning which is also in a bad state and needs urgent repairs.

PLANNING

PA23/                  After a discussion it was proposed by Cllr Rule and seconded by Cllr Ryan that the Council recommend approval of this application,   All Agreed.

NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN UPDATE

Cllr Ryan  stated that there has been no progress and that they will need   another meeting soon.

ALICE DALE CHARITY UPDATE

The Clerk reported that there has been one bill paid and other than that there has been no progress.

CIL PAYMENTS

The Clerk said that most of the first payment s have been made but we still have to spend the second round of money.

It was decided to put the purchase of a defibrillator on the next agenda.

Cllr Reed said that it would be a good idea to have some Owl boxes in the Parish and a new notice board for Plain an Gwarry...                    Cllr Ryan    Said that the notice boards need information updating.

CLLR  THOMAS     Reported that  4x4s  have been using footpaths and bridleways and causing considerable damage to the surfaces

CLLR HOWELLS     Said that there a four candidates for the post of County Councillor

CLLR RULE              Nothing to report

CLLR  VARDY          Nothing to report

CLLR RYAN              Nothing to report

CLLR  FORD             Nothing to report

CLLR  RULE              Nothing to report

The Chairman then closed the meeting at 20.25.
